Chief Technology Officer | New York, NY

Our client, an emerging venture at the intersection of AI, healthcare technology, and financial operations, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead product development, technology strategy, and engineering execution from the earliest stages of growth.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a hands-on technology executive who thrives in building products from concept to commercialization. The CTO will own platform architecture, guide product direction, recruit and lead engineering talent, and partner closely with executive leadership to scale a category-defining technology business.

Compensation: $150K

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap.

  • Lead the development and launch of a scalable software platform from initial concept through commercial deployment.

  • Design secure, resilient systems supporting complex, data-intensive workflows within a regulated environment.

  • Drive the integration of AI-enabled automation and intelligent workflow capabilities across the platform.

  • Establish technical standards, infrastructure, and development processes to support future growth.

  • Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing engineering organization.

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders, investors, advisors, and customers to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience building and scaling software products from 0-to-1 in startup or high-growth environments.

  • Strong software engineering and architecture background with the ability to remain hands-on when required.

  • Experience developing AI-driven products, workflow automation platforms, or complex enterprise software solutions.

  • Demonstrated success hiring, leading, and mentoring engineering teams while maintaining ownership of technical strategy.

  • Familiarity with healthcare technology, financial technology, payments infrastructure, revenue cycle operations, or other highly regulated, transaction-intensive environments.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and rapidly evolving business conditions.
