Director, Facilities Operations | Seneca Lake, NY

A confidential organization is seeking a senior leader to oversee integrated facilities operations within a complex, multi-functional environment. This role carries full responsibility for physical plant performance, capital project execution, and service delivery across a diverse portfolio. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, and a safe, high-performing environment.

Compensation: $120K+

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight of integrated facilities operations, including maintenance, custodial, grounds, and support services

  • Lead preventative maintenance and reactive repair programs across all major building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities)

  • Manage and optimize a multi-million-dollar operating and capital budget, including forecasting and cost control

  • Partner with senior leadership to align facilities strategy with organizational priorities and long-term planning

  • Oversee capital and construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget

  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams across technical and operational functions

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining operational continuity

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in integrated facilities management within a complex institutional or commercial environment

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale operating and capital budgets

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advise executive stakeholders on operational and capital decisions

  • Track record of successfully leading construction and capital improvement initiatives

  • Deep technical understanding of building systems and facilities operations
