A confidential executive search is underway for a senior D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Functional Consultant to support a complex, enterprise-scale finance transformation. This role sits at the intersection of finance operations and systems delivery, with a strong emphasis on billing, revenue recognition, and subscription-based financial models.
The position will partner closely with senior finance leadership to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end finance processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational rigor across invoicing and revenue functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance modules with a focus on billing and revenue operations
Own and enhance end-to-end billing processes, including subscription billing and complex service-based invoicing models
Support revenue recognition processes aligned with ASC 606 and AASB 15 standards
Partner directly with CFO-level stakeholders and senior finance leadership to translate business requirements into system solutions
Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
Act as a functional lead across finance system initiatives, ensuring alignment between finance operations and technical delivery teams
Provide subject matter expertise on finance process optimization within a global enterprise environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience in finance systems, with deep exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance
Strong background in billing, subscription billing, and revenue management within complex service environments
Proven experience working with senior finance stakeholders, including CFO-level leadership
Solid understanding and practical application of ASC 606 and AASB 15 accounting standards
Strong grasp of accounts receivable, invoicing, and finance operations within enterprise organizations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive alignment
