Our client, a highly regarded professional services organization, has retained us to identify a Senior Executive Compensation Consultant to advise clients on executive compensation strategy and total rewards programs. This is a client-facing consulting role with significant visibility, focused on helping organizations design competitive, performance-driven compensation frameworks that align with business objectives and evolving market conditions.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned compensation professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting, relationship management, and business development capabilities.

Compensation: DOE - up to $225K

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead executive compensation and total rewards engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Advise senior executives and HR leadership on compensation strategy, pay benchmarking, and incentive program design.

  • Develop and modernize executive and broad-based compensation structures, including short- and long-term incentive plans.

  • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and trusted advisory relationships.

  • Contribute to business development initiatives by expanding existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

  • Mentor junior consultants and provide leadership across project teams.

  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and evolving compensation practices to deliver informed strategic guidance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of executive compensation or total rewards consulting experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise designing executive compensation programs, incentive plans, and pay strategies.

  • Proven success leading client engagements and building long-term advisory relationships.

  • Experience managing complex consulting projects while balancing multiple priorities.

  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced education or relevant compensation expertise is advantageous.
